Certificate in Small Business – Part time Fixed Term Contract (25 weeks)

 

Are you passionate about small business development and want to support new or existing business owners in your community or region? Have you started and run your own business, and want to pass your knowledge and experience on to future entrepreneurs?

 

Te Wananga o Aotearoa is committed to tauira success and whānau transformation through education, and we are proud to offer the Certificate in Small Business in Tauranga in 2024. We are looking for a motivated and passionate tutor wanting to support individuals in realising their business dreams.

 

Alongside delivering core programme curriculum, you will assist tauira (students) to develop a detailed business plan which will include profit and cashflow forecasts. Tauira will learn key business skills in the areas of marketing, operations, and financial management that will contribute to the growth and development of a business or enterprise.

 

The ideal applicant will have relevant tertiary and adult teaching qualifications as well as practical business experience. An understanding of some Te Reo Māori and tikanga would be helpful, but more important is the ability to relate to all cultures within the classroom.
