We are currently looking for an exceptional person who is passionate about building capability to support the development and delivery of training and development programme initiatives within our takiwā. With exceptional facilitation skills and a strong ability to build relationships, your audience will grasp the learning you provide and enthusiastically put this into action in the execution of their roles.

With a familiarity of adult learning strategies and an understanding of bicultural frameworks, you will comfortably incorporate the vision, values and principals of our kaupapa māori organisation into your delivery and approach.

Ultimately, the Capability Coach will drive educational excellence through increased competency coaching and support, to grow the collective capability of our people.

Applicants will have a: 

  • Sound understanding of Āhuatanga Māori (values, culture and tikanga)

  • Bachelor Degree in Adult Teaching or Education

  • Proven experience in delivering capability programmes to adult learners including technology based learning curricula

  • Proven experience in e-learning/ blended learning instructional delivery

In addition to facilitation experience, working within the HR field would be advantageous.
