Kaiako/Lecturer/SW Educator – Bachelor of Bicultural Social Work (BBSW)

We require a person who has extensive experience within the Social Services field to deliver our Social Work programme within a bicultural framework. You will enhance our tauira by delivering high quality education based on sound bicultural principles in Social Work practice.

The ideal candidate will have the following credentials;
- Master’s Degree in any field
· A Bachelor of Social Work or a related field
· A current Social Work Registration
· Ideally a Diploma or Certificate in Adult Education
· Teaching experience
- Knowledge of Te Reo Māori and Tikanga would be an advantage
This position is classed as a Core Worker under the Vulnerable Children’s Act and will need to pass a safety check, inclusive of Police Vetting, under the Vulnerable Children’s Act 2014.
