Location: Waitakere or Māngere
Hours: 37.5 per week
Days: Monday - Friday
Salary:
$63,395 - $79,245
Support the delivery of youth vocational pathways through Secondary Tertiary Programmes, STAR courses, Alternative Education, and other engagement initiatives across the Takiwā. As an Advisor - School Services Transitions, you will:
- Support the onboarding of tauira as required
- Regularly visiting classes to build relationships with tauira and Kaiako
- Lead the operational needs of programmes and provide quality operational support for wider Youth Engagement Services activities
- Manage the tauira enrolment, re-enrolment and transition to further study post-secondary school.
- Encourage and foster a productive environment that benefit all kaimahi.
Mōu | About you
We are looking for someone who has the following:
- Bachelor of Education, Bachelor of Youth Work, Bachelor of Youth Development or equivalent
- 5+ years proven experience in office management / administration and customer service experience
- Experience working with Māori or Pasifika and people from diverse backgrounds
- Experience using CRM / Student Information Systems
- Full NZ Drivers Licence (Class 1)
As a kaupapa Māori organisation, your willingness to participate in cultural activities and develop an understanding of Āhuatanga Māori (values, culture and tikanga) is desirable.
