Title: Advisor – Tauira
Recruitment
Role: Permanent part-time position
Location: Christchurch
Hours: 18.75 hours per week
Days: Monday – Wednesday (some weekend flexibility will be required)
In this role, you’ll be promoting, supporting and contributing to takiwā annual recruitment targets. You will also:
- Present and promote TWoA programmes and services to external stakeholders and communities
- Develop and implement recruitment plans, projects and campaigns
- Use CRM as a recruitment tool
- Host programmes, activities and events
- Support kaiako to roll-out plans
Mōu | About you
We are looking for someone who has the following:
- Diploma in business or marketing related field.
- 3+ years’ experience in marketing, recruitment or in an education related role.
- Understands and uses basic te reo Māori phrases, mihi and greetings (TARM level 2 or equivalent qualification)
- Fluency in Te Reo Māori is an advantage or be prepared to increase knowledge, understanding and everyday use of te reo and āhuatanga Māori and support other kaimahi in the same endeavour
- Full clean New Zealand Drivers Licence - The ability to tow a trailer is advantageous.
As a kaupapa Māori organisation, your willingness to participate in cultural activities and develop an understanding of Āhuatanga Māori (values, culture and tikanga) is desirable.
