Mō tēnei mahi | About this job

Location: Must be based out of one of our sites across Aotearoa
Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week

Tenure: Permanent

Salary: Low $81,497 – Mid $101,871

As an Analyst – Quality Improvement, you will:

  • Support scheduled programme reviews, identifying strengths, risks, and improvement opportunities
  • Support programme redevelopment across assigned portfolios
  • Ensure programmes are prepared for approval events, qualification reviews, and quality milestones
  • Maintain accurate and reliable records in line with data, privacy, and information management policies
  • Contribute to regulatory and compliance reporting (NZQA, TEC, MoE)
  • Use advanced digital tools to support analysis, reporting, and decision-making
  • Build strong relationships with kaimahi, kaiako, and external stakeholders

 

 

Mōu | About you

We are looking for someone who has the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Education, Social Sciences, or a related field
  • Postgraduate qualification and/or certification in analytics or data visualisation (desirable)
  • 5+ years’ experience in data analysis, evaluation, or applied research (tertiary sector preferred)
  • Strong experience with Power BI or similar data visualisation tools
  • Experience supporting regulatory or compliance reporting (e.g. NZQA, TEC)
  • Expertise in survey design, data interpretation, and evidence-based storytelling
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills
  • Strong understanding of kaupapa Māori and commitment to applying it in daily mahi

 

As a kaupapa Māori organisation, your willingness to participate in cultural activities and develop an understanding of Āhuatanga Māori (values, culture and tikanga) is desirable.
