Role Type: Full time; fixed term position 
Location: Hamilton or Te Awamutu
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Days: Monday – Friday
Duration: Until 17th December 2027
Salary:
$54,509 - $68,136

 

As Coordinator - Inati Tahua (Equity Fund), you will:

  • Coordinate hui processes including agendas, minutes, and action tracking.
  • Prepare high-quality documentation, reports, and decision papers.
  • Administer applications in line with equity fund criteria and policy settings.
  • Coordinate the flow of applications to authorised decision-makers or panels in line with delegations.
  • Lead coordination of Inati Tahua (Equity Fund) processes to ensure consistent application of policy and standards. 

 

Mōu | About you

We are looking for someone who has the following:

  • Tertiary qualification at Level 6 or higher in Business Administration, Project Management, Māori Development, Education or a related field.
  • Training in quality assurance, service coordination, or CRM systems (desirable).
  • 3–5 years’ experience in a coordination or advisory role within tertiary education, student support, or youth services.
  • Strong working knowledge of the Education (Pastoral Care of Tertiary and International Learners) Code of Practice and its application.
  • Full NZ Drivers Licence (Class 1).

 

As a kaupapa Māori organisation, your willingness to participate in cultural activities and develop an understanding of Āhuatanga Māori (values, culture and tikanga) is desirable.
