Mō tēnei mahi | About this job

This is a national role leading operations across the motu, comprising three Takiwā with more than 80 delivery locations, and four Puna Whakatupu (Early Learning Centres).  The core purpose of this position is to ensure strategies are developed, implemented and measured to support the delivery of takiwā operations and Puna Whakatupu in an effective and efficient manner, provide relevant and timely advice to leaders, optimise technology for efficiency and effectiveness, oversee the financial performance of the Takiwā and ELC, and ensure the supply, utilisation and maintenance of assets and resources, that support the provision of educational programme delivery.


Mōu | About you

We are looking for someone that has experience:

  • A proven track record managing a medium sized commercial operation or division
  • Extensive experience in a senior leadership role managing complex operations related functions
  • Operational and financial management experience (ideally in the education sector)
  • Project management/infrastructure experience
  • Large budget and financial analysis experience
  • Proven success working with hapū/iwi/Māori communities

As a kaupapa Māori organisation, your willingness to participate in cultural activities and develop an understanding of Āhuatanga Māori (values, culture and tikanga) will be key.
