Kaiako – Bachelor of Bicultural Social Work (BBSW)

We require an expert kaiako who has extensive experience within the Social Services field to deliver our Social Work programme within a bicultural framework. You will enhance our tauira by delivering high quality education based on sound bicultural principles in Social Work practice.

You will have a Master’s Degree in Social Services and have current Social Work registration as well as the Diploma in Adult Teaching, proven adult teaching experience and experience in the social work sector. Knowledge of te reo Māori and Tikanga will be an advantage.
This position is classed as a Core Worker under the Vulnerable Children’s Act and will need to pass a safety check, inclusive of Police Vetting, under the Vulnerable Children’s Act 2014.
