We are seeking a dedicated and detail orientateda Kaiako Matua tojoin us on a permanent full-time (37.5 hours per week) position basis based in New Lynn, Auckland.
As the Kaiako Matua, you’ll be at the forefront of managing the location campuses day-to-day operations and academic functions. Your leadership will guide our academic and non-academic staff, ensuring a seamless execution of our programmes.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Taking charge of the site operations requirements, overseeing staffing, procedures, and administration duties, including student enrolment and pastoral support.
- Lead an academic team, providing support to educators to ensure compliance with procedures and uphold our quality standards.
- Provide comprehensive reports on operational matters and contributing to internal and external reviews.
- Engage in teaching activities when required, to support the educational objectives of the site.
- Play a pivotal role in fostering DynaSpeaks reputation and contribute to the enhancement of our educational standing in the community.

The ideal candidate for this role will be a proactive leader with a passion for education and a track record in both academic and operational management. They will be able to inspire the team, foster a culture of excellence and possesses strong problem-solving skills. This individual will be someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, excels in communication, and brings a deep commitment to maintaining high educational standards while nurturing a supportive and inclusive learning community.
You will also bring with you:
- Degree in Teaching/Education or Leadership
- CELTA or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years teaching experience in an EL environment
- NCALNE
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite.
