The Certificate in Business (Introduction to Team Leadership) reflects Te Wānanga o Aotearoa’s commitment to whānau transformation through high‑quality, holistic education. The contractor kaiako role supports tauira success by delivering learning that is responsive yet structured, grounded in kaupapa Māori, and guided by the principles of Ako Wānanga. Responsibilities include facilitating learning, supporting assessment and progression, and upholding delivery requirements in a way that reflects our values of Aroha, Whakapono, Ngā Ture and Kotahitanga.
Mōu | About you
You are an experienced contractor kaiako who holds a minimum NZQA Level 5 qualification in Business, Leadership, or a related field, an Adult and Tertiary Teaching qualification (Level 5 or above), and an Adult Literacy and Numeracy qualification (or a commitment to work towards this). You bring experience teaching adult learners and delivering structured programmes, including assessment, learner progress monitoring, and meeting NZQA and organisational delivery requirements. Grounded in the foundation of Te Wānanga o Aotearoa, your practice supports the successes of our tauira (Kia angitu te tauira), delivers learning in a responsive yet structured way, and reflects our values of Aroha, Whakapono, Ngā Ture and Kotahitanga while engaging with Āhuatanga Māori.
