About the role

The Certificate in Business (Introduction to Team Leadership) programme provides a unique opportunity to our tauira to develop their foundational skills, knowledge and attributes in Team Leadership.

The kaiako role involves but is not limited to: developing lesson plans, presenting material to tauira (students), responding to tauira learning needs, administrative duties relating to the delivery requirements of the programme, and evaluating tauira progress.

About you

The ideal applicant will have an understanding of and use basic te reo Māori phrases and greetings, hold a level 5 qualification and experience in the area of leadership or business, adult teaching qualifications and experience, and be working towards or hold a qualification in adult literacy and numeracy.

You should be proficient in motivating and inspiring people to gain the skills and knowledge to contribute to effective team performance and the potential to be effective in a team leadership role.

As a kaupapa Māori organisation, your willingness to participate in cultural activities and develop an understanding of Āhuatanga Māori (values, culture and tikanga) is desirable.
