We are seeking a Kaiāwhina to support our Kaiako in the delivery of our He Pii Ka Rereprogramme, manage day-to-day activities in the delivery of the programme, prepare documentation / general administration and resource development, recruitment of tauira, and support tauira learning in class.
This is a Part-Time (15 of hours perweek) position, based out of the Whanganui campus. Some flexibility will be required to work some weekends and evenings (for noho and night classes only)
Mōu | About you
To be successful candidate will:
- Be able to confidently converse in te reo Māori
- Be able to evidence their experience using or navigating systems that support tauira learning
- Be confident using Microsoft Office Applications
- Have proven administration experience
- Level 4 Te Reo or Tikanga qualifications are preferred, or a willingness to study towards gaining a qualification
As a kaupapa Māori organisation, your willingness to
participate in cultural activities and develop an understanding of Āhuatanga
Māori (values, culture and tikanga) will be key.
