Part-time (18.75hr per week)
Te Wānanga o Aotearoa, the second largest provider of Tertiary Education across Aotearoa, is excited to be looking for an “Administrator Superstar” who is energetic, initiative driven and motivated to help others. If this sounds like you and you are interested in joining us to achieve “Whānau Transformation through Education” then we want to hear from you.
You will provide quality technical assistance, administrative support and services for an allocated function area. However at times you will be required to work across other administration function areas.
Duties can include but are not limited to: the processing of incoming and outgoing correspondence, the support of day-to-day Āko (educational) operational activities, liaising and completing general administrative duties as requested by the Kaiarataki (Lead of Education delivery).
You will have proven experience in an administration role and preferably hold a Certificate in Business Administration or Computing. Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office is also required. You will have excellent written and oral communication skills, a personable nature with the proven ability to work well in a diverse cultural environment. A full driver licence is essential.
An understanding of Te reo Māori phrases, mihi and greetings and of Māori values, culture and tikanga is expected.
