Are you an organised, solutions‑focused professional who loves being at the centre of a busy operational environment? This is an exciting opportunity to join Te Wānanga o Aotearoa as Kaiwhakarite (Administrator) – Procurement, supporting a function that plays a vital role in how our organisation operates every day.
In this role, you’ll provide high‑quality administrative support across procurement, travel activities, supplier engagement, and organisational processes. You’ll be a critical link between our Procurement Team, internal kaimahi, and external partners—ensuring information flows smoothly, systems are up to date, and our procurement practices are supported with accuracy and care.
You’ll work closely with the Team Lead – Procurement,
contributing to the efficient delivery of purchasing, travel coordination,
supplier communication, documentation, and general administrative activities.

You will be someone who enjoys supporting fast‑paced functions and working with a variety of people and tasks. You’ll bring:
- Strong administrative experience and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Confidence working with documents, records, procurement or finance systems, and organisational processes.
- Excellent communication skills, supporting both internal kaimahi and external providers.
- A proactive, organised approach, with the ability to spot what needs to be done and get it underway.
- Strong relationship‑building capability—someone who can represent Procurement professionally and positively.
- Commitment to accuracy, quality service, and continuous improvement.
