We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and organised Kaiwhakarite - Administrator to be the face of our organisation. This is a permanent, full-time (37.5 hours per week) position based in Māngere.
As the Kaiwhakarite - Administrator, you will be the welcoming face of our organisation, ensuring a seamless experience for tauira (students), kaimahi (staff), and visitors. You’ll play a key role in keeping our operations running smoothly, providing vital administrative support across various departments and ensuring resources are effectively managed. Your proactive approach will shine as you assist with requisition processes, help maintain site resources, and support events, all while building strong relationships with kaimahi, stakeholders, and tauira.

Mōu | About you
We're looking for a self-motivated individual with a knack for organization and strong communication skills, who is ready to embark on their professional journey and is not afraid of doing a bit of heavy lifting.
You will also bring with you:
- A Certificate in Business Administration or Computing (Level 3) would be advantageous.
- MUST have a Full New Zealand Drivers’ License, the ability to driver a manual would be a bonus
- Proven experience in an administrative role, but we encourage applications from those eager to learn and grow
- This role does have a physical requirement, so you must be comfortable with tasks that include heavy lifting
- An understanding of and able to use basic te reo Māori phrases, mihi and greetings
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (ie Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point, Publisher)
As a kaupapa Māori organisation, your willingness to participate in cultural activities and develop an understanding of Āhuatanga Māori (values, culture and tikanga) will be key.
