If you’re an experienced administrator with a passion for supporting excellence in education and Māori values, we’ve got the job for you!
As Kaiwhakarite Matua – Ako (Senior Administrator – Ako), you’ll provide high-quality, comprehensive administrative support to the Aukaha Ako – Takiwā Delivery, a senior leader who is also based in Māngere. In this key role, you will:
- Coordinate calendars, hui, and travel arrangements.
- Manage Takiwā Academic Committee administration and ensure accurate reporting.
- Lead and support administration teams across the takiwā to deliver consistent, high-quality service.
- Look for opportunities to help you and your team work smarter.
- Facilitate effective communication and maintain confidentiality at all times.
- Assist with project coordination when required.
Mōu | About you
To this role, you’ll bring your outstanding relationship management and communication skills, your highly organised nature, ability to stay calm under pressure along with:
- 4+ years senior-level administration experience and 2+ years supervisory experience.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel & PowerPoint).
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- A commitment to Te Kaupapa Matua o Te Wānanga o Aotearoa and engagement in cultural practices.
