The primary function of the Kaiwhakarite Matua (Senior Administrator) is to provide administrative support to the Takiwa, taking ownership of administrative tasks and more complex tasks; with a strong focus though not limited to our offsite teaching venues. At times incumbents will be required to work across all administrative areas within the Operations portfolio.

You are proficient in Microsoft applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Your relationship management skills are top-notch. Whether it’s tauira (students), kahimahi (employees) or other stakeholders, you’ll maintain a professional approach with clear and effective communication. You are well-organised and have a proven ability to meet tight deadlines.

As a kaupapa Māori organisation, your willingness to participate in cultural activities and develop an understanding of Āhuatanga Māori (values, culture and tikanga) is desirable.
