About this role

The primary function of the Kaiwhakarite (Administrator) is to provide administrative support and services to the Manager Operations and the smooth running of the campus:

  • Provide quality admin support, calendar management, variety of bookings
  • Reception duties - customer service/welcoming whānau as they enter campus
  • Manage book/work systems
  • Support and maintain site resources
  • Receipt mail/deliveries
  • Support set up for hui/Events
  • Build and maintain positive relationships

 

About you

As the face of our campus, we are looking for someone that:

  • Has had experience in administration and customer service.
  • Ideally can converse in Te Reo Māori (Basic level)
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Certificate in Business Administration or Computing (Level 3).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Manage book/work systems
  • Has an eye for detail.
  • Can take initiative and find the answer.
  • Take minutes.
  • Can manage their time effectively.
  • A clean, full NZ Driver’s License.
  • Adaptable to learn new systems.

As a kaupapa Māori organisation, your willingness to participate in cultural activities and develop an understanding of Āhuatanga Māori (values, culture and tikanga) is desirable.
