Role: Learning
Designer
Location: Queen Street, Auckland City
Hours: Full-time
Days: Monday to Friday
Tenure: Permanent
As a Learning Designer, you will:
- Design, create and review learning content, assignments, and assessments for programme delivery
- Develop engaging multi-modal learning materials (text, visual, audio, and digital)
- Collaborate with Academic Teams to ensure learning resources meet programme outcomes and learner needs
- Support curriculum updates aligned with NZQA and stakeholder requirements
- Provide guidance and training to kaimahi on learning resources and systems
- Contribute to continuous improvement through feedback,
evaluation, and innovation
Mōu | About you
We are looking for someone who has:
- A qualification in design (Level 5 Diploma or equivalent)
- At least 2+ years’ experience designing and developing learning resources
- Strong knowledge of instructional design principles and adult learning theory
- Experience working within an educational environment
- Confidence using digital tools and learning platforms
As a kaupapa Māori organisation, your willingness to engage in cultural activities and grow your understanding of āhuatanga Māori (values, culture and tikanga) is important.
