About this role

The primary function of the Manager – Tauira Recruitment is to manage the tauira engagement and recruitment functions in the takiwā.

 

Role details:

Title: Manager – Tauira Recruitment
Role: Permanent Full Time
Location: Porirua
Hours: 37.5 hour per week
Days: Monday - Friday

 

As Manager – Tauira Recruitment, you will:

  • Collaborate with Te Puna Mātauranga to design and implement annual tauira recruitment plans for the takiwā
  • Support the takiwā to develop networks with stakeholders, including hapu and iwi, government agencies, community, schools, tertiary providers and industry
  • Collaborate with Te Puna Mātauranga to implement takiwā marketing campaigns across agreed channels during recruitment phases
  • Provide leadership, performance management and support for all direct reports
  • Ensure the wellbeing, health and safety of staff is supported in accordance with health and safety policies and procedures

 

About you:

We are looking for someone who has the following:

  • Bachelor Degree in relevant field
  • 3+ years’ in a senior marketing role
  • 5+ years’ relationship management experience
  • 2+ years’ staff management experience
  • Excellent relationship management skills
  • Advanced relationship management and relationship broking skills

As a kaupapa Māori organisation, your willingness to participate in cultural activities and develop an understanding of Āhuatanga Māori (values, culture and tikanga) is desirable.
