About this role
The primary function of the Manager – Tauira Recruitment is to manage the tauira engagement and recruitment functions in the takiwā.
Role details:
As Manager – Tauira Recruitment, you will:
- Collaborate with Te Puna Mātauranga to design and implement annual tauira recruitment plans for the takiwā
- Support the takiwā to develop networks with stakeholders, including hapu and iwi, government agencies, community, schools, tertiary providers and industry
- Collaborate with Te Puna Mātauranga to implement takiwā marketing campaigns across agreed channels during recruitment phases
- Provide leadership, performance management and support for all direct reports
- Ensure the wellbeing, health and safety of staff is supported in accordance with health and safety policies and procedures
About you:
We are looking for someone who has the following:
- Bachelor Degree in relevant field
- 3+ years’ in a senior marketing role
- 5+ years’ relationship management experience
- 2+ years’ staff management experience
- Excellent relationship management skills
- Advanced relationship management and relationship broking skills
As a kaupapa Māori organisation, your willingness to participate in cultural activities and develop an understanding of Āhuatanga Māori (values, culture and tikanga) is desirable.
