Are you passionate about creating learner-centred, high-quality programmes that reflect the richness of Mātauranga Māori and meet the highest standards of tertiary education?

We are seeking a Programme Lifecycle Advisor (Marau) to bring expertise, innovation, and cultural integrity to our Ako Excellence team.

This is a pivotal role, where you’ll design and maintain curriculum that is current, accurate, and aligned with NZQA standards, lead programme lifecycle planning, and engage with stakeholders to build strong relationships that shape responsive, relevant education. upport kaiako with training and induction, empowering them to deliver exceptional learning experiences.

We have five (5) Permanent, Full-time (37.5 hours per week) positions available, that can be based out of any one of our sites across Aotearoa.

Mōu | About you

You will be an expert in in NZQA rules, TEC compliance, and programme review processes, and strong communication and relationship-building skills, with a commitment to Te Kaupapa Matua and āhuatanga Māori.

What you’ll bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Curriculum Development, or related field
• Master’s degree or postgraduate qualification in a related field is desirable
• Full NZ Drivers Licence (Class 1)
• 5 years’ experience in tertiary education, curriculum development, academic quality support or a related sector.
• 2 years’ experience in experience leading or managing academic projects across programme development or delivery (particularly in assessment and assessment design.)

As a kaupapa Māori organisation, your willingness to participate in cultural activities and develop an understanding of Āhuatanga Māori (values, culture and tikanga) will be key.

Salary Range: $72,490 - $108,735. Remuneration will reflect qualifications, skills and experience for the position.
