Exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Procurement Officer – Tenders to join our Procurement team. Reporting to the Team Lead - Procurement, this role will appeal to those with a passion for procurement who seek to be actively involved in the tendering process.
The Senior Procurement Officer - Tenders initiates and coordinates the strategic sourcing across all spend categories. The role participates in vendor selection, tenders, vendor negotiation and maintains a system of compliance, monitoring and measurement to deliver benefits and cost savings to the organisation.
You will work closely with the Senior Advisor - Procurement and participate in vendor selection and negotiation as well as the tenders process. You will know how to execute the sourcing strategy through disciplined tender process and contract negotiation and in deploying strategic procurement frameworks and practices. An ability to guide and advise internal stakeholders on the tender process would also be advantageous.

You will have experience in working in procurement or category management and creative sourcing strategies in procurement. Naturally, you will be proactive in being a team player and hold great communication and attention to detail skills.
