As the Senior Salesforce Developer, you will:
- Lead the design, development, and optimisation of Salesforce solutions that enhance the tauira experience and support organisational objectives.
- Translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and maintainable technical solutions.
- Provide technical leadership through solution design, code reviews, mentoring, and engineering best practices.
- Develop and support integrations between Salesforce and external platforms using modern API and integration patterns.
- Drive continuous improvement through refactoring, automated testing, and reduction of technical debt.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Product Owners, Software Engineers, and stakeholders across the organisation.
- Contribute to agile delivery practices and foster a culture of learning, innovation, and technical excellence.
Mōu | About you
We are looking for someone who has the following:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Salesforce Platform Developer I certification (required).
- At least 7 years’ hands-on Salesforce development experience in enterprise environments.
- Strong expertise in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Salesforce Flow, APIs, and integrations.
- Proven experience with automated testing frameworks, CI/CD practices, version control, and agile delivery methodologies.
- Experience integrating Salesforce with external systems using REST APIs and industry-standard integration patterns.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience conducting code reviews and mentoring developers.
- Ability to build strong working relationships and communicate effectively with technical and business stakeholders.
Desirable:
- Salesforce Platform Developer II certification.
- Experience with OmniStudio, Azure DevOps, Azure Portal, Visual Studio, and GitHub.
- Experience within the tertiary education or academic sector
