The role of Sourcing Officer is responsible for coordinating the procurement of tauira resources for Te Wānanga o Aotearoa. Exciting opportunity for an experienced Sourcing Officer to join our wider Procurement team. 

  • Coordinate national procurement of tauira resources
  • Research, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers for the best value
  • Ensure timely delivery and top-quality materials
  • Maintain accurate procurement records and stock levels
  • Train and support staff on procurement systems
  • Champion sustainable and socially responsible sourcing


Mōu | About you

We are looking for a dynamic Sourcing Officer to lead the charge in sourcing high-quality, sustainable resources that support tauira across Aotearoa.

  • Certificate in Business Admin or Diploma in Supply Chain
  • Experience in procurement or resource coordination
  • Strong relationship and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and procurement systems

As a kaupapa Māori organisation, your willingness to participate in cultural activities and develop an understanding of Āhuatanga Māori (values, culture and tikanga) is desirable.
