Location: Must be based out of one of our sites across Aotearoa
Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week

Tenure: Permanent

Salary: Low $81,497– Mid $101,871

As a Strategic Analyst  you will:

  • Track, monitor, and report on quality improvement initiatives and outcomes
  • Support planning, reviewing, and coordination of papers submitted to the Academic Board
  • Maintain central quality registers, systems, and documentation
  • Ensure alignment with NZQA, TEC, MoE and tertiary education regulatory requirements
  • Conduct analysis of programmes, processes, and outcomes to identify gaps and opportunities
  • Use data insights to inform quality improvements and strategic recommendations
  • Lead, scope, and manage quality improvement projects end-to-end

 

Mōu | About you

We are looking for someone who has the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Data Analysis, Quality Assurance or similar OR 5+ years’ experience in quality, compliance, or risk (education setting preferred)
  • Experience in analysis, reporting, data management, and documentation
  • Strong understanding of tertiary education quality systems (NZQA, TEC, MoE)
  • Advanced Excel and data analysis capability
  • Strong project management skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking
  • Experience using quality improvement tools and methodologies
  • Solid report writing and communication skills

 

As a kaupapa Māori organisation, your willingness to participate in cultural activities and develop an understanding of Āhuatanga Māori (values, culture and tikanga) is desirable.
